course. Several Kauai scuba diving outfitters offer diving tours to

If you have always wanted to explore
the underwater world at a leisurely pace that takes you beyond snorkeling,
but you don't have the time or desire to get SCUBA certified, SNUBA
may be just the thing for you.
SNUBA is a relatively new and unique activity allowing
you to get the thrill of SCUBA with the ease of snorkeling. It does
not require any prior training or experience. Your air is supplied
by a SCUBA tank which is on the surface on a float. The float follows
your every movement underwater. The air is delivered by means of a
20-foot airline which allows you to be anywhere from the bottom, mid-water
or near the surface. You dive at your own pace not feeling pressured
to keep up with anyone. SNUBA is a great activity for families and
for a certified diver to
introduce non-certified partners to the underwater breathing experience.
