Hawaii
Multi-Sport Adventures
Bike, Walk and Sea Kayak on the Big Island:
“If you thought the blue of the Pacific was something to
write home about, wait until you see the grazing land rippling
along the flank of Kohala Mountain. The grass really is greener
in Hawaii,” raved Travel+Leisure. The diversity of the Big
Island’s greens and blues is well matched to the activities
on Backroads' multisport journey. Hike through steaming calderas
and above the lush Waipio Valley. Bike the magical Kau Coast overlooking
the Pacific. In the shadow of a volcano, sea kayak to caves unreachable
by land. And hear of Hawaii’s intriguing folklore and history.
