Located
in the dramatic central highlands of the private island of
Lana'i, The Lodge at Koele is a gracious retreat amidst manicured

The Lodge
at Koele will be undergoing significant enhancements throughout
2006. Though it will remain open, there will be limited availability
of guest rooms. However, dining, golf and other recreational
amenities will be available throughout the year for guest
enjoyment. Plans are currently underway for the complete renovation
of all guestrooms, suites and public spaces as well as the
addition of a new freestanding Wellness Center and Spa. The
guestroom and public space renovation will be complete in
late 2006 and the Wellness Center and Spa will open mid 2007.
The Lodge
at Koele, set in the central highlands of the Island of Lanai,
is one of Hawaii's rare inland hotels. The Lodge, reminiscent
of a fine country estate features an upcountry Hawaiian setting
with an extensive collection of Pacific art, Japanese hillside
garden and Hawaiian fruit gardens. The lodge is situated on
the outskirts of Lanai City, the island's only town. Secluded
among decades-old towering Norfolk pines at an elevation of
1,600 feet, the Lodge at Koele has the ambiance of a worldly
plantation owner's residence.

luxurious rooms and suites, some with fireplaces, offer uncompromising
comfort with hand-carved four-poster beds, ceiling fans, oil
paintings by local artists and views of the pastoral countryside.
Secluded gazebos, acres of gardens, sculptures, and an English
conservatory grace the grounds.
The Lodge
at Koele's grounds are a study in serenity, yet activities
abound. Enjoy a game of tennis or a round or two on the spectacular
18-hole championship golf course, "The Experience at
Koele". The tranquil swimming pool and outdoor whirlpool
prove the perfect spot to read and relax.
