Built as a New England-style whalers' village,
this village is now port to cruise ships. On-site
amenities include a lighted tennis court, three
barbecue areas, pool, and various lawns interspersed
with the hotel's tropical gardens. Guests
of ground-floor rooms should ascend to the second
floor and stroll the wooden walkways, where
they will experience a tropical-garden canopy,
as various species of trees and other tall plants
rise through openings outside each second-floor
room.

the street from the hotel, this casual place is
noted for American cuisine at breakfast, lunch,
and dinner.
Kobe Japanese Steak House -
Knife-wielding chefs prepare delicious steak,
seafood, and chicken entrées at diners'
tables, and sushi is also available. Dancing
and karaoke are presented on Friday and Saturday
evenings.
